Easter Praise

Our 6.30pm Service on Easter day will be a service of praise at which we will be celebrating through a mixture of our favourite Easter hymns and contemporary songs. Please see the separate sheet for full details of all our Easter services.

Wells Children’s Festival

This year the Wells Children's Festival is on Saturday 19th May from 11.00 to 3.00 and is about the Feeding of the 5000, exploring contemporary issues through fun activities (Fair Trade, sharing the world’s resources justly). It is for children aged 3-11. Booking need to be made by the 30th April. Contact us for more info

Community Rooms Service

Monday 2nd April at 2pm will be a simple, informal Communion service. All welcome.

Good Friday Walk

Don't forget the walk up Solsbury Hill on Good Friday. Meet at Batheaston car park at 11.15 to join the walk up the hill. (There is a short service followed by lunch together). Bring a packed lunch and kites, dogs, games etc.

Children - Help decorate the church for Easter

To help decorate the church for Easter, children are invited to bring any of the following:

i.   An Easter garden that you have made *

ii.  Something that you have grown or arranged (ie flowers or plant)

iii. Your Easter picture.

(*Easter gardens are typically an arrangement of stones or papier mache, soil and flowers etc in, for example, a seed tray to show either the crucifixion, tomb or resurrection.) 

Please leave your creation in the side chapel at church on Good Friday and they will be displayed from Easter Saturday.  Mark your name and contact details clearly on each item brought and you will get a cream egg.

Easter Flowers

We will be decorating the church on Saturday 7th April. If you would like to do an arrangement in a particular part of the church please sign the list by the door but we would welcome anyone who would like to come and help on Saturday morning. Please bring greenery from your garden to help the decorating on Sat morning. Thank you.
