How to be a follower of Jesus Christ in the 21st Century?

Would you like to explore just what it means to be active follower of Jesus today? Over the next term the sermons will be looking at the letter to the Philipians with the following titles;-

21st Jan Living in Christ
28th Jan Standing together in Christ
11th Feb Transformed by Christ
18th Feb Right with God in Christ
25th Feb Knowing Christ
11th Mar Rejoicing in Christ
25th Mar Content in Christ

After listening to theses sermons the application will then be discussed in our housegroups during the following week. What better way to start the New Year than to join a housegroup at the beginning of something new and explore with others what it means to live as a Christian in 2007. The week of prayer for Christian Unity 18th – 25th January

A 20mins service will be held at the Good Shepherd Church, Batheaston on weekdays (Thurs - Thurs) at 12.30pm followed by lunch.(Bring your own sandwiches, tea & coffee will be provided). On Sunday 21st Jan at 3pm a united service will be held at The Methodist Church, Batheaston. The preacher at this service will be Revd Angela Berners-Wilson, Chaplin at Bath University.
